From what I saw and read about these four designers is that all of them are very confident in their work, I can even say a little obsessed about it which makes them what they are today.

Marian Bantjes believes that her work keeps evolving and that she expects it to change a lot over the next few years. Her highly personal, obsessive and sometimes strange graphic work has brought her international recognition. Her work includes an underlying structure and formality that frames its organic nature.

Bruce Mau believes in positive change and he uses design to create that. He sees design in a unconventional way. “Design is the method by which we change things”. He strongly believes that we should let events change us.

Stefan Bucher is very obsessed with his work. When he gets an idea he won’t stop until he gets what he wants or wants to accomplish.

What I though was very interesting about Stefan Sagmeister is the fact that in every seven years he goes on sabbatical. While getting away from routine and visiting another country/culture he reteaches himself about new things and ventures into different cultures and lets his mind breath in all what surrounds him. That for me is very fascinating.

All four designers have different ways of thinking yet somehow they all manage to come to the same conclusion. They all are obsessed/proud with their work and they know exactly how to defend it.
